If you’re new to this site, you’re probably asking yourself that question. “Why exactly should I be checking out this site?” or “What’s gonna make me want to come back?” Well hopefully it doesn’t take you long to figure out how much there is to our site, but in case you need any convincing, this is why you need to check out our site and come back often.
Interaction
I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about it, but I realized that almost any draft site you go to has no interaction. They have an article or profile or mock and say, “This is how it is, we know it, you don’t.” That really rubs me the wrong way, and it do the same should to you.
We want our site to be more of a conversation than anything. We’re in an age of people interacting with each other from anywhere in the world, and that’s what our site is tailored to do. There’s comment boxes below just above every one of our pages. If you’ve got something to say, go right ahead. Did you watch a few games of a certain player and think he’s great? Write that at the bottom of his profile or the mock. Do you think someone else is overrated and have reasons why? Put those too. Don’t be afraid to be the first to comment, our new site has brand new comment boxes so odds are they will be blank right now. Everyone has an opinion on the draft and these prospects, so why not open the discussion with everyone else on it?
On a side note, we are actually looking for contributors from each fan base, so if you have any interest send me an e-mail and I’d love to have you write for our site as an expert for your team.
Player Profiles
We take great pride in our player profiles. When I hear about someone I don’t know much about, I go all over the internet looking everywhere I can to find analysis or game film or stats on him. Now you don’t have to do that. We’re your one stop shop for information on players,with their game film, measurables, analysis, stats, and player comparison. When your team picks that guy you’ve never heard of in the 4th round, we want you to come here to get acquainted with him. It’s really the only place you need to look to find out whatever you need to know about a player.
Daily Updates
We make sure we’re putting out new content on here on as much as we can, so that means at least once a day. Whether that’s a new player profile or a new article or even just new videos for the prospects can change from day to day, but every day we want something new on here. Be sure to check it out as much as you can, because odds are there will be something new on here for you.
We Listen to our Fans
This site isn’t for us, it’s for you. Therefore, we take very seriously whatever you have to say or whatever you suggest to us. That might be something general about the site or even just your opinion on a player. Seriously. We’re not going to be like most of the arrogant “experts” out there who I sometimes wonder see the same thing we see. More often than not, if you have a strong opinion on a player it’s because you’ve seen them a lot and are very familiar with them, and I’ll respect that and really take that into account. So take the time to tell us what you think, because we’ll take the time to act accordingly or add what you’ve told us about a certain player or team. This make-over is thanks to you, so keep coming back and make sure you tell your friends how great this site is.
Oh and by the way, we’re going to have a contest soon, so be sure to check in for details when we announce them in the near future. We have the feeling it’s something you’ll think is fun and that it’ll be worth your time.
