Our Vision

You know that feeling you get when you’re reading a mock draft and you finally get to your team…only to be disappointed because you couldn’t disagree more with the pick? All you can say is, “We would never take him!” or, “Does this guy even have a clue about our team?” Well we here at Mock Draft Club feel your pain, and our goal is to make sure we hear what you, the fan, has to say. Because when it comes down to it, the draft is a crap-shoot. It’s impossible to put a mock together that pleases everyone, as there will always be people who think that this player should go higher or that guy would never get taken that high. Although we believe that our analysis is the best out there, we acknowledge that we are not anywhere close to perfect, or that we are as in touch with the Cleveland Browns as a die hard fan of the team is.

It goes so much more than that, though. The most innovative and interactive draft site, we not only accept feedback, we encourage it and put it to use on our site. Besides our “expert’s mock,” we also will publish a “fan mock,” which is based entirely on what YOU tell us. We’d like to think that we’re experts on all 32 teams, but nothing can compare to the insights you (the fan) develop from following them closely on a daily basis. When it comes down to it, you have a better sense gauge on pulse of the team than any expert.  The “fan mock” will be entirely based on who you vote for, plain and simple. See those polls underneath every pick in the first round? Vote on them! E-mail us too and tell us why ________ deserves to be the pick. Comment on players or if they’re a good fit on your team. With your participation, we can become the most accurate mock out there and have the most interaction with you. Not only do your votes decide the “fan’s mock,” if you give us valid reasons for the pick, you can even influence our mock. But without your participation, you take away your ability to decide who your team is pegged to get, just like every other site. We will also profile a new player every day, so make sure to check back often. Now enjoy the site, spread the word, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and more than anything, PARTICIPATE! Thank you for your time, and welcome to the Club!

About Us
Ryan: Tom and I are both extremely passionate, borderline neurotic fans of the game of football. We have been scouting since 2007 and our obsession with it seems to grow more and more every year.   As a Bronco fan, I’ve been blessed to witness two Super Bowl championships, and for the most part, watch a competitive team every single year.   I’m a huge supporter of Timothy Richard (Tebow), and wholeheartedly believe he has what it takes to win a Superbowl.  I’m currently working diligently at landing a spot on an NFL team’s scouting staff, in whatever capacity, and one day would like to be a member of the greatest organization on the face of the earth- the Denver Broncos. Any issues, concerns, questions, thoughts, feelings can be sent to me either on Twitter, or to miller43@buffalo.edu. Tom and I both welcome everything, including criticism.  So whether you want to call us out, talk draft strategy, or just talk football, please feel free to get in touch with one of us. God Bless and Go Broncos.

Tom: Unfortunately I’ve never gotten to see a Super Bowl victory like Ryan has, but one thing I can take pride in is how much the Bills have taken the image of our city. They have faced tough times but have the resiliency to keep on fighting, just like each and every individual who calls Western New York home. I can’t see the Bills ever leaving, they are just too important to our city and I honestly don’t know if we’d ever be able to rebound from it if they did. The day we do win the Super Bowl will be far and away one of the greatest days in my life, and easily one of the highlights of our city’s history, as we finally get over the hump and shed our national image as losers.

All I do is think football, so it was just a matter of time before I took the initiative to get a job with it. I just want to put a site out there where the fan truly matters and he knows we value his opinion. I hope you love the site as much as we do and check in often. I love to hear anything you have to say about the site, the Bills, or just football in general, so if you want to reach me just fill out the form on the contact us page and I’ll be sure to get back to you. In closing I’d like to take a page out of the late Tim Russert’s playbook and sign off with one simple line. Go Bills!
